Ever since I was a small child I loved halloween. It was my favorite
holiday above all others. I think I enjoyed the mystery and wonder
about the unknown, and it scared the hell out of me.
I remember one year a house a few blocks over turned their garage
into a haunted walkthrough. It was prett basic, black tarp on the
walls, black lights &strobes and some people in costumes. I
must have gone through that garage 50 times that night. Unfortunately
for reasons I don't know that was the one and only year they held
the haunted garage.
As I got older and went trick or treating less I began making cardboard
tombstones and playing scary music out my bedroom window. This progressed
to making stuffed dummies for my lawn hiding in the bushes in costume.
Now that I am grown up I want to give back to the holiday I loved
so much as a child by making it special for the kids today. I strive
to be the most decorated house in the neighborhood and give the
kids an interactive, scary experience that they'll remember for
years to come. Hopefully one of them will have their own imagination
sparked and start their own haunted walkthrough.
In my other life outside of the halloween sub-culture I am an Interactive
Design Technician at an Advertising agency in Philadelphia and am
currently planning an October 2001 wedding with my fiance.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and read about me!
